Programs are done in 3 week blocks, 2 build weeks and 1 recovery week.This is the ideal format for busy athletes with busy lives.
Talk with your coach every week. Whether that's via phone, text, email, or video chat - it's up to you.
Your coach will make sure you are on track by reviewing your workout files and provide feedback on how your training is progressing.
If you get sick, injured, or miss a workout your coach will update your training plan to keep you on track.
As a Endurance for Life coached Athlete, you'll get custom heart rate, power and pace zones to streamline your training.
You get all your workouts delivered to you via Training Peaks where you can see what's ahead and track your progress.
Whether you are an experienced athlete or a beginner that doesn't even feel comfortable calling themselves an athlete, you will be given physical and mental challenges every day that meet you where you are at to build upon your current state of confidence and resiliency.
If you make time for body maintenance, you won't have to make time for injury. It is about making body maintenance as high of a priority as training is. You will be coached on a simple, time proven system that works! Injury prevention is also making sure other things in your life such as office ergonomics or how you sit or stand are not impacting your body.
Customized programs are designed to fit your busy life schedule. and manage your physical and mental energy. Your body does not know the difference between physical or emotional stress, so you will be given a time efficient and effective training schedule that doest not throw your life out of balance.
Becoming an economical athlete is about consistency and using efficient technique. You can have your sport specific technique analyzed and you will be provided with drills and resources to practice.
Equipment is an important, yet can be an overwhelming part of sport. If required, you will be provided with guidance about equipment choices and fit that will make your journey with your sport a positive one. Its not about buying the best, its about buying whats best for you.
You will be coached towards your athletic goals with the same periodization science that professional athletes are coached with. The only differences will be the amount of time you train and how training is balanced amongst all of the other busy parts of your life. Training will be an important part of your life, just not all of your life.
